1987 Chevrolet Corvette - I bought the car in Sept. of 2004. It was completely stock, and in great shape. I had waited for over 55 years to own my first corvette, and I wanted it to be a good one. Buying price was $9,500. After starting my polishing company, I made the engine changes, and then other items listed as time went buy. I will buy a C-5 in 2-3 years, and this beauty will be my grandson's graduation present in 9 years. The R & L license plates are for Rick & Linda, my wife. Since the changes, I have about 48 more HP, and it runs fantastic on the increased 28 lb injectors. It gets 23 MPG since the changes to the engine. If you have any questions about doing changes to your system, feel free to Email Me Thanks for any comments you may have, Rick. I started this small polishing business after buying my Corvette.

Rick’s Custom Polishing - Polished TPI intakes - How our business works

1) We do an exchange process, where you get a gorgeous looking system, and you just do an exchange and send us your old unit. The price for this is $400 + $65 for shipping. Here is what you get. A highly polished plenum, distributor cover, throttle body & cover. With it you get a powder coated lower manifold, fuel rails, water housing, throttle body bracket, and a beautiful set of runners. All parts are hot washed, and then each part finished as described. The powder coating is called near chrome and is very durable and easy to clean. It is baked on at 400 degrees, and does not stain or fade. When finished, it really is a very nice looking set-up together.

2) Or you can have us do your system. It is the same price except we tagged every part, process it, finish it, and return it. You get just what you sent, completely finished, for the same price.

3) If you do not have an exchange system, the price for a unit is about $600. It just depends on how much we have to pay for a system for the exchange. Usually, it runs between $600 and $650.

4) If you have another unit to trade, we can do that to. What we do is give you a fair market price, around the $175 mark. We then take that amount away from our system price, and that is what we would charge with the extra system. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 360-570-9289. We will try to give you a great deal for a very good price. We hope to hear from you, and to be able to help you with your project. Take care, be safe. We really do put out a very nice product, and customer service is our goal. Some speed engineering going on here.
