1970 Dodge Coronet R/T convertible with only 66,000 original miles. This is a very rare and collectible Mopar muscle car and is only 1 of 236 produced. These are going to over $100,000 cars real shortly so do not miss out!!! This car has the original #'s matching 440 cubic inch 375 horsepower motor, original #'s matching torque flight transmission and original 8 3/4 rear end. The previous owner of this car converted it to a correct 4 speed pistol grip manual transmission and Dana 60 rear end. We have most of the receipts for this conversion and it was done is 2001. All the original parts were retained and come with the car. This is a very original and clean rust free car that has had only 1 repaint since new and is totally rust and bondo free. The paint is very old and had some scratches and marks here and there but shines brilliantly and is the correct original color of fe5 bright red. The body is laser straight and would be the perfect candidate for a major restoration or drive it and bring it to a car show the way it sits. The car is outstanding mechanically and runs, drives and stops with no excuses and yes it absolutely is fun to drive. The interior is in excellent condition and has been redone with a legendary interior kit and is finished in the original color of black vinyl bucket seats. All the gauges works perfectly and everything works and functions well in the entire car. We have serviced it and spent $1,500 on lots of minors things that bothered us so we fixed them all. The tires are probably 20 years old and need replacing (we have new BF Goodrich radial T/A's on backorder and will put them on the car if they come in on time). Some of the options on the car are power brakes, power steering, power top, am radio (works well), 3 speed wipers, console with wood grain trim, bucket seats, l/s remote mirror and a black convertible top. Some items that were added in 1991 were a correct rear wing, a tti 3" exhaust from the original manifolds (still on car) all the way to the tips (sounds outstanding) and sub frame connectors. The fender tag is original and we have 1/2 of the broadcast sheet, but it is the top half and has most of the important information is on it. |
