1970 Datsun 510 2 door, L18 out of a '74 610, runs
well, no smoke, uses some oil, (not a brand new engine), stock 4 speed
transmission, dual SU's, K & N Air filters, header bolted to a 2" custom
exhaust that separates at the cross member so it can be easily removed, if
desired. Aftermarket anti-sway bars (1" front and 3/4" rear). I removed
one complete ring out of the front coils to drop it to the level it is at
now. Falken ZE-502 tires (195/60R14), I have a set of 6 spoke Z rims that
are available for purchase, if interested. Optima red top battery. The
odometer reads 69,900 (which is most likely 169,900 since it showed 16,000
miles when I bought it in 1998). Over the years I have replaced many parts
as necessary since it's been one of my main cars. Some of these parts
include radiator, radiator hoses, belt, alternator, recent tune up parts,
air cleaners, carburetor linkages, rubber fuel lines, choke cable, u
joints, rear wheel bearings, brakes-shoes and pads, rubber brake lines,
wheel cylinders, clutch, clutch slave, clutch master, clutch throw out
bearing, brake master, fuel filler tube, rear shocks, and other things I
am forgetting. You know, basic maintenance. - Ed

1986 Chevrolet S-10 for sale. It's red, shortbed,
regular cab. It's my pride and joy as I spent a whole winter building the
383 stroker that's in it and have spent in excess of 8,000 building it. It
has 11 to 1 compression, and contrary to what people say, it runs just
fine on pump gas. It has a aluminum radiator with twin Flexalite electric
fans, aluminum high flow water pump, an aluminum deep groove pulley to
keep everything cool. It has a 100 amp chrome alternator to keep those
volts fed. The heads are 194's and are ported and polished. They have 7/16
ARP studs,1.5 Crane Gold Race roller rockers on the intake and 1.6 on the
exhaust. They also have Comp Cams guide plates with hardened pushrods.
Also there is aluminum valve covers that say "JEGS" on them. The cam is a
Comp Cam Extreme Energy 274 cam and lifter kit which was ground on a small
circle base for the stroker crank. everything in the engine is new except
for the intake and carb (which has been rebuilt with a K&N filter. There
has been extensive work done on the block clearance it for that 400 crank.
It has a chrome oil pan with a high volume Mildon oil pump with a ARP oil
pump pushrod and ARP oil pump stud. Also the entire bottom end is held
together with ARP bolts, studs, and nuts. It has ceramic coated shorty
Hedman headers and 2 1/2" exhaust to the rear end. The transmission is a
turbo 400 with a B&M shift kit and the transmission is filled with B&M
Trick Shift fluid and has a chrome transmission pan that holds an extra 2
quarts to keep it cool and a drain plug for easier fluid changes. The
converter is a 2000 stall converter (it needs more, but I ran out of
money) The drive shaft has all u-joints and has been shortened 3/4".The
rear end is a stock 10 bolt but has a Eaton posi-traction and 4.10 gears
which sits on 295/50/15 tires. It also has a 4-like under it (it needs a
little adjustment but its all there) All four corners of the brakes have
been completely overhauled. The backs have new everything in the drums and
rotors and the fronts have new pads, calipers, and brake hoses. It
currently has a B&M Megashifter in it right now, but it needs replaced and
I will include a almost new B&M Pro Stick with the aluminum cover that has
a button on the handle for a line-lock or trans-brake or nitrous or
whatever. Inside the cab I have gauges for oil pressure, voltage, and
water temp. I have a 5" monster tach, but it will need replaced, it works
ok but it could be better. It has a 7 gallon fuel cell in the bed with the
battery mounted back there too. I would like to get $4500.00 out of it
which I feel is very reasonable for the amount of money I have put into
this truck. I am located in central Nebraska. - Robert Meyer -
