1989 Chevrolet Corvette - I had always
wanted a Corvette, and when I first got this one I was fortunate enough to have
found one with a 6 speed. That was the first year Chevrolet came out with the 6 speed's. A tuned port injected 350, 5.7 liter.  I believe the stock H.P. was about
245. After a few modifications, it was about 275 H.P. It made for quite a ride with
the 6 speed. See the "GM" page for more pictures.  - Ron Landry

1969 Boss 429 Mustang

 - 22 years worth of
storage, or so. There is a little dust on the engine as you can see. The
whole car is stored in a basement. 429 CID very cool engine for sure. They
don't make vintage cars with engines like this any more. See the "Ford"
page for more pictures.  Brandon's Dads.  -

- The six-speed
transmission is in the rear and designed by Getrag, a
rather rare car, with a unique engine, 3.0 L engine, 240hp, Variocam engine,
(variable valve timing, similar to the V-tec motors). At the time the pistons
were said to be the lightest in the world. See

| Welcome to the Engines section of Fast Cool Cars. A lot of the pages on this web site have "next" listed on them, (multiple pages). This is a format that I have made, so that the few people that are still on a dial up connection will not have to wait for loading times that are more than a few moments. There are many pictures posted on each page, they are all thumbnails that can be enlarged by clicking on them. There are many people and their Fast Cool Cars listed here. We also have a interior, and wheels page for your Fast Cool Cars. We have many other sections for your enjoyment, check them out. We have a working horsepower calculator, and a Guestbook, stop on by that page and leave a message. If you have a Fast Cool Car, or accessories for sale, check out the classifieds page.
